JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:          Chartered Civil Engineer

 

Summary of Goals and Objectives:

Senior Civil Engineer capable of independently completing a broad range of general Civil Engineering tasks, including but not limited to the following:

Designing and Supervising small to medium scale land development between two and residential allotments and potential larger scale industrial developments, roles here would include:
o    Designing stormwater solutions for the developments,
o    Pavement designs,
o    Retaining walls,
o    Water and Sewer Reticulation
o    All design work would be completed in terms of the RITS.
o    Preparation of Design Reports.
o    Preparing and reviewing Civil contracts, tendering the works and awarding contracts.
o    Engineer to the Contract Roles
·         CAD skills are not essential, but advantageous. The software that we work with is 12D and we have a wide range of modules to suit most design needs.
·         Other general engineering design skills will be useful for work associated with three waters solutions at some factory sites that we work at and with Council.

Preparation and adherence to Health and Safety plans including wearing personal safety equipment as required. The employer to supply work boots, overalls, hard hats and other PPE gear as required on various work sites.

 

Ideally the candidate will be able to work with graduate staff to assist in growing their skills at the same time and to complete the work available efficently.

Any other duties reasonably required by the Employer from time to time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position:         Licensed Cadastral Surveyor

 

Summary of Goals and Objectives:

A Licensed Cadastral Surveyor capable of independently completing and managing subdivisions through the whole process from initial design to gaining council approval for the subdivision. The role will include the following key requirements:

 

·         Initial site visits and working with the client on their requirements.

·         Preparing resource consents.

·         Low level engineering design for small two- three lots subdivisions.

·         Completing Cadastral Surveys including Fieldwork, calculations and lodging with LINZ.

·         CAD skills are advantageous. The software that we work with is 12D and we have a wide range of modules to suit most design needs.

 

The candidate shall be friendly and enjoy working with a team of varied skills.

Adherence to Health and Safety plans including wearing personal safety equipment as required. The employer to supply work boots, overalls, hard hats and other PPE gear as required on various work sites.

Any other duties reasonably required by the Employer from time to time.
